After completing my training in Queensland I spent a period of time 'barnstorming' around South East and western Queensland visiting Agriculture shows and rodeos doing joy flights. It was lots and lots of hard work but I had some truly awesome friends who helped me sell tickets, brief passengers and drive all over the place to support my fledgling career. It was a great way to get a feel for the industry, get experience and see outback places; we did have heaps of fun and have some very funny stories and adventures to look back on.

After that, a four month campaign as a spotter during a widespread locust plague in western NSW enabled valuable insights and experience in agricultural, spraying and low-level operations and inter- agency emergency work. Further experience of this nature came as the result of devastating bushfires in 3 successive years in my home town areas of the Blue Mountains.

In 2006 I was fortunate to get a full-time flying job in Coffs Harbour During my five years there I enjoyed a variety of work including tourism, photography & filming, survey and charter.

I love showing people the splendor of our awesome country and I never get sick of sharing my passion for helicopter flight. It's the best way to see everything......
