Pilot

I am 25 years old and started flying back in 2008. I had never thought of becoming a helicopter pilot until a chance trial lesson. After then I was well and truly hooked! Since 2008 I gained my private licence and began getting through my ATPL theory exams with Caledonian Advanced Pilot Training. After passing I began training towards my JAA Commercial Licence and Flight Instructor rating with Kingsfield Helicopters in Perth, Scotland. I passed both my flights tests in summer 2010 and immediately came down under to build experience.  After gaining my Australian licence I started working here in Broome.

I love the challenge of flying and the variety that each day brings. Broome is a beautiful place to fly and the wildlife in the ocean is truly abundant and spectacular. My goals are to have a long and safe career. In the near future I would love to fly and work in the North Sea oil rigs in Scotland. Beyond that I would love to be involved in Air Ambulance work. For now I am extremely happy flying in Broome and will dearly miss it when my Visa expires and they kick me out the country!
